Now, anyone can go ahead and post, though I think that it would be good if Rim posts for Hal, since he is to propose a toast of some sort as best man.

While it would be peachy fine if Rim could contribute a post for Hal, I wasn't really setting anything up there. Truth be told, my original idea involved Kuruharan taking Vogonwë to the cleaners (in the figurative sense) in return for assuming best dwarf duties, but *grumbleKurugrumble* he left while that plan was still gestating. Hal was my last minute grasping about for someone to subsitute.
