Actually I think the wondrous Lucrezia didn't operate in Venice much. Rome and Ferrara were her main centres of action...

Yup. Beladonna had heard such great things about
Venice when reading a review of the town in
"Letters" that she got the places confused.
(Of course, being a literary creation, you can't criticise
her too much).
