I laughed when the fellowshipwas at the gates of Moria. After Gandalf tell them he dosen't know the password. quote: "What are you going to do then?" asked Pippin "Knock on the door with your head, Peregrin Took," said Gandalf "but if dose not shatter them, and i am allowed a little peace from foolish questions, I will seek for the opening words."

I also think the other reprimands Gandalf gives Pipin are funny too. I do, however, feel rather sorry for Pipin. Him being the youngest of the fellowship, trying to prove himself. Being so reprimanded by the leader in front of all must have been hard on him.
