I don't know why they ran them together. Barton is now a suburb of New Milton which is the Post Town so it is really "Barton-on-Sea, New Milton" for me at least... but Barton was an Invalid City which made me laugh since we have the highest percentage of over 60s in the country. It is only cool if you are a geologist / paeleonlogist because of the unique blue clay. All in all it is a great place if you are into fossils
