I'd really like to play this time round. I'm brand new to the Downs but I followed the last WWJ game and really enjoyed it! I can understand if you would want to offer places to older members first though.

I'd like to be either the school teacher or the Inn keeper. I am a she for reference

As for the time, I'm in Asia and on the opposite side of the world from many of you, so as long as the voting deadline isn't between 6pm and 1am GMT, I'll be able to make it work. I may post at what seem to be odd times--I can assure you in advance that this is not wolvish, it's just that we crones sometimes keep odd hours.

No worries, Ancalime... I played the "insomniac" last game as I knew I'd be keeping odd hours. Nobody really minds them, though you might get gently teased about it because of day one randomness.

What a silly notion. The older members have already played. You haven't. That means that, by all rights, and especially in a game for newcomers, you get first dibs. Welcome, and well met, and all of that, as well.

I'm not a newcomer and I'm not new at this game but I am new at the game at the 'Downs and online... Do I get dibs on a dibs too?

Unless anyone has any objections (read: better ideas) the name of the town shall be Lower Tadfield. (If you don't get it, read Good Omens by Terry Pratchett and Neil Gaiman.)

Currently, our population is Nine. We have:
Bergil, m. A 'Superstitious Guy.'
Rune Son of Bjarne, Traveling Cheese Juggler
Wilwarin538, f.
Glirdan, m. Baker.
WaynetheGoblin. Scientist.
Gurthang. Peddler.
Sleepy Ranger. Explorer from out of town who gets stuck in Lower Tadfield.
Sotty. School teacher OR Innkeeper (choose one, please!)
Tar-ancalime. Crone.
Márcolië Lamen, unknown. DEATH.
Eonwe. Friendly undertaker.

I'd rather not go over 18 people, so unless some drop out, only eight more spaces.

Those of you who don't have a role in the village, you have until the game starts to think of one. Those of you who don't have a gender, (I'm not assuming any in case you want to play around with it) again, you have until the game starts to get one in.

As for timing, I think 9:00 on GMT-5 will work well for me except for on Mondays, but I'm going to have to check AbercrombieOfRohan's schedule as she is now officially my backup mod. The game won't start at least until Monday, though maybe later depending on the other game, since this weekend has been divided by zero.

I'd like input on which roles you guys want to have in the game, as well.

DEATH NEEDS TO POINT OUT THAT I WILL HAVE WEIRD HOURS BECAUSE OF THE LACK OF SLEEP AND WEIRD HOURS OF CALLING TO THE FEILD. I WILL BE ON AT LEAST DAILY THOUGH.
