Hi! It's nice to be here, amongst fellow Tolkien enthusiasts!

I am 18 years old, male, and very much not looking forward to school starting (first year of college . . . . yay??)

Besides that, I don't really have much to say about myself, save to give a "status report" with regards to my knowledge of Tolkien lore. I've read The Hobbit, The Lord of the Rings (all three, of course . . . ), and The Silmarillion several times, and am currently reading them again as a refresher. That having been said, I am by no means an expert (after reading some of the threads here, well, it's incredible how many little details and subtle connections one overlooks, and some of the theories put forth I found very interesting), so I hope to learn much from you all.

Welcome all newcomers!

I know, I haven't been here in a while. I do not have a computer at the moment and won't until the end of October. We are building a house right now, and the house we were renting has been sold. I am now living with my grandparents, and they do not have a computer. I'll try and drop in while I am at school once in a while. I need the BD to keep my love for Tolkien alive. I miss you all! I can only hope you will miss me!
