*gasp* That sounds so cruel! *chuckles quietly* I'm sorry, it just does...on paper, without Gandalf holding the Ring and without knowing what the intent is.

Good jod, Kitanna. That's right. I agree with Folwren, Gandalf then says "It's quite cool." How does he know? He's holding it with tongs, and isn't absolutely sure it's the One Ring.
