Also I expect that people would start to refer to euros as quids.... and cents as pence regardless of what it says on the coins...especially since we use "plastic money" increasingly. Of course children who do use coins and have never known anything else will look at there elders either as hopelessly backward or amusingly quaint...... but then there is always something which will inspire these opinions ....so no change there :P
