But apart kidding, what's the point of comparing at all? They don't seem to have much in the way of each other, elves and hobbits. I like them both in their ways

If the question is where would I like to live - with hobbits or with elves, I'd say here, there, peridically. But in Rivendell (tra-la-lally type of, I mean, can't bear too much austerity in one go
