It's an interesting point regarding "offcolor" language. It can easily become gratuitous, but at times is effective and relevant. I sometimes think
censors/editors get carried away in various editing of films, especially for non-cable tv. Two examples in the U. S.: 1) in "Mad Max" replacing Australian accents with American and in the first "Smokey and the Bandit" replacing BR line given in response to the question "Can you run a forklift?" "I can lift any forking thing around" with "I can lift anything." But I imagine that f***** f**** Dobby and that f*****' hack Peter Jackson would approve of the changes. ![]() My biggest disappointment in the third extended dvd is that they don't offer something like the nice bookends that came with the FOTR dvd.
