Galadel here...returning to Barrowdows at last! YEAH!! Finally I am able to find a break in my busy schedule of school, etc. to visit this beautiful place. It feels great to be back after so long. The place looks a little different, but still has the same homey feel about it, which is why I LOVE this web site.

Hello out there in TV Land!!

I have been a Tolkien fan for over 25 years. My interest has come and gone in cycles over the years but has remained pretty constant since the movies came out.

I have been a pretty active member of TTF (The Tolkien Forum) for the past year and a half. Several TTF people also belong to this community and they alway speak highly of it, so I decided to drop by for a visit.

I'm also hoping to run into my old friend Maedhros. He was a mentor of mine and a fellow Scholar.

And welcome, baragund! Maedhros is still here, although it seems he mainly haunts the "Translations from the Elvish" forum .. said forum quite frankly scares me a bit.

I'm a life long lover of all of Tolkien's works and have been visiting the Barrow-Downs for some time. Just recently I discovered this forum and jumped at the oppurtunity to join it. Already it has surpassed my expectations. I am extremely pleased and honored to be amongst devote fans of Tolkien who are knowledgeable of his works to the utmost extent.
