Gothbogg the Ripper has just left Hobbiton.
The Eye

I believe my name came from an Orcish variation of my actual name on the name generator, I'm not 100% sure that it's correct but I gave it a go anyway.

The Saucepan Man has been trapped in the Barrow!
I've posted this somewhere else, but what the heck ...

When I first joined, I had just read the Faraway Tree books (by Endi Blyton) to my daughter. Since they had been my favourite books as a child until I read The Hobbit, I assumed the name (and occasionally the personality) of my favourite character from them.

Abe is in the tradition of unlikely and reluctant heroes. Very Hobbitish, in a way.

Edit: (As indeed is the Saucepan Man himself, now I come to think of it.)

Wasn't the Saucepan Man the slightly scary one? Or am I getting mixed up with Moon-Face? Dang, I'm going to have to find those books again.
