This is so old, I believe it must be the first ever 'quotes' thread on the forum. Be amazed and awestruck! It is a mix up too - quotes proper, quiz, and 'imagined quotes' all in one.

The answer, meanwhile, might be Calimehtar, son of Narmacil II, the threat being that of Easterlings.

But I do not intend to carry on on this thread. I just wanted you to see it
