If you feel that someone doesn't like your arguments or your style (neither is the case in this instance, as Mithadan explained), its no reason to consider packing up and leaving. Someone as good as supporting your point as you are surely doesn't have to retreat at the first hint of animosity (again, I stress that there was none in this case).
