I was curious about a coupple of things, first off it says that Eomer has a son Elfwine, but I could not find anywhere about who his mother was. Secondly I have a question about when the Balrog pulled Gandalf off of the bridge, for isnt it stated that the Balrog's wip is aflame like the sword, so if he had used the wip to pull gandalf down wouldnt the flames on the wip have atleast wounded gandalf some or were the flames just as "decoration" and were not that hot, please excuse this if it seems noobishly written, half of me is asleep and the other half is hungry, thanks in advance\

The answer to your first question is found in Appendix A (RotK):

Yes, Steve, you're right, the whips burned: they entangled like a regular whip and they also burned, so Gandalf was burned and also dragged down over the chasm. He says later that he was burned as he fell, though he's talking more about the Balrog's flames than the whip's flames: all the same source, though.
