Resorted means to do something when all other options are out of the question like Feanor for example, he resorted to taking the boats by force because he beleived there was no other way

What does resorted mean? It isn't a word? That's weird, I thought it was. Anyways, resotred means it was something someone had to resort to. Anyways, no, Morgoth isn't the answer. You were closer with Feanor.
