Hah! Frodo would dress up as a giant spider... very scary! Or as a Ringwraith "My alter-Ego."
Sam would be an oliphaunt. Or maybe a frying pan.

I think Denethor would dress up as the King of Gondor and Saruman would be Sauron's eye.

The ole switcharoo
I think Gimli would go to the local costume store and by stilts and extra-extra large elf costume (to fit his pot belly.) Of course, he would never shave his beard. So I guess he would be a very comical looking elf for Halloween.
Poor Legolas can't make himself any shorter, so he'd be a really tall skinny dwarf with a tie on beard.

Boromir would dress up as John Travolta from 'Saturday Night Fever'.
Saruman would dresss up as a hippie wearing a tie-dye robe of many colors and a headband with a big red eye on it. Arwen would dress up as a mortal so she could be with Aragorn. Eowyn would dress up as Arwen so Aragorn would want be with her. Aragorn would dress up as Gimli so Arwen and Eowyn would leave him alone. Legolas would dress up as Aragorn so Arwen and Eowyn would want to be with him. Faramir would dress up as Boromir so Denethor would accept him. Boromir would dress up as Faramir because he doesn't die in the first book. Thats just off the top of my head, I'll think of more later. Vuelve

Gimli would dress up as Galadriel,
Sauron would try for a Morgoth costume, and Gollum would dress up as Frodo (so he'd have an excuse to handle the Ring, of course  ).

Aragorn (back when he was Strider) would dress up as King of Gondor and Arnor.
Éowyn would dress up as a man named Dernhelm. Frodo would dress up as Sauron. Elwing would dress up as a bird. Beren would dress up as a dog. Lúthien would dress up as a bat.
