Well, I have answered my own questions!
 The symphony is coming to Chicago on October 9th and 10th, and tickets are $33-78 US, depending on whether you get good or bad seats. Needless to say, my family will be in the $33 seats!  Not that I don't wish it otherwise, but my dad's the one paying, and I don't want to push my luck!
