For all us fellow Texans, the Howard Shore concert is coming to Houston on July 1 and 2. I was both pleased and surprised at this! Tickets go on sale tomorrow (Tuesday, May 25) at 10 a.m. It will be performed by the Houston Symphony and the Houston Symphony Chorus and Children's Chorus, with Alexander Mickelthwate conducting--250 performers in all. Would that Shore himself was coming, but this is the next best thing....

I am going to try to get tickets for the Thursday evening performance.

Thought this would be a good place to post a notice like this.

Could I ask where you found that info? I'd like to see if there's one in Dallas...
