Great topic. It is interesting to read the posts and see what others are writing. I'm working on a novel inspired by Tolkien, however, taking place afer the conclusion of LoTR. The plot came to me in several dreams.

The hardest thing has been trying to make some of Tolkien's main characters stay out of the story as I want the story itself to be original and not just a FanFic. (I love FanFic's but would like this to be something more). The main characters and story are original.

Writing this story is taking twice as long as I would like as I have also been drawing some pictures to include in the book. [img]smilies/smile.gif[/img]
