Yup! He may have keen eyesight, but the hearthrob Elf has a lousy sense of direction.
 You are quite right, Perky Ent. It was an error that, amazingly, no-one apparently spotted during filming or editing and, even more amazingly, was not over-dubbed for the Extended Edition. The floor is yours, Perky.
