didn't Gandalf also say to aragorn something like "he (Sauron) is afraid. the heir of Elendil has come forth and he has seen that men are not so weak as he thought. there is gourage among them, strenght even..."
I think it was in the EE version of the two towers. ps as you can see I can't spell either
