like G said (he simply *hates* to be called "G") perhaps Gollum had a part to play in the saga. Gollum played a lot of parts in the whole saga, from Hobbit to Return of the Jedi, opps i mean: King! [img]smilies/tongue.gif[/img] sorry...to me Gollum is a tragic hero if you will...corrupted by the Ring, forever in self-conflict with good and evil, the spine of the stories...and finally forever re-joined with his Precioussss in the fires of Mt Doom. [img]smilies/cool.gif[/img]
