645 miles.

Most of my walking has been recorded on the weekends, walking in and around the mountains (snowboarding rules)!. When I look up at some of the peaks I can just imagine how the hobbits felt trudging along, feeling they would never really reach them.

I haven't been posting regularly but I had to post today -- Happy Death Day to me -- it's one year since I joined! I don't want to remember what life was like before the Downs, with no one to talk to about LotR or when you did talk, people looking at you like you were strange!! Thanks BW for a terrific site.
