Women vs. desire of the ring

The Ring itself is an object that men are more liable to be attracted to than women, because it has a female quality to it. Keep in mind that Galadriel, the only female seriously tempted by the Ring, possessed a lot of male qualities.

Another reason why it attracts men to it perhaps more than women is because it symbolizes, & promises, power. I think we'd all agree that men are drawn more to the prospect of power than women are? Or at least that's what I think. [img]smilies/cool.gif[/img]
