I agree with Saucepan, in that I judge the movies by how they affected me, not how close they were to the books. In that respect...<P>RotK is my favourite; it balanced the battle scenes and the emotional scenes perfectly, and the character growth was shown brilliantly. (Plus it was the only one I cried during, but <I>shhhh!</I> Don't tell anyone that! )<P>Second is Fellowship. I was just so overwhelmed by how *big* it all was; moving from the Shire, where I immediately decided I wanted to live, to Rivendell, to Moria, to Lorien... I was just amazed. I was in love with it from the prologue.<P>Last is Towers. The action and everything was brilliant, but it was lacking emotionally, which I felt bad about. Happily, this was slightly amended in the EV, so that redeems it a little in my sight.<P>Abedithon le,<P>~*~Aranel~*~
