Best out of the Three

I liked <I>Fellowship of the Ring</I> best, for its dialogue, scenery and costumes. I think it stayed the most true to the book. The last two practically drowned in battle scenes, and while I realize that battle descriptions do take up a lot of the book, the movies seemed to have only touched lightly on the emotional aspect of the tales . . . but then, my memory of the first two is quite hazy, so . . .
