Gorwingel has just left Hobbiton.
Sting

I can't decide, because truthfully there were things that I liked and disliked about all three. But if I have to choose one, I think my favorite would have to be FOTR because it was just such a magical film, and it truely changed my life (I know that sounds corny, but it brought me to the world of Tolkien).
ROTK is of course my second, and it could be my first after a couple more viewings (I find that my favorite viewing is usually the second, it has been that way for FOTR and TTT). But FOTR is my favorite because it contained more of the original material from the book and it ran much more smoothly. I also felt FOTR also reflected Tolkien's original writings more than the other films.
I liked TTT. Actually I really truely liked all three. Yes there were things that were extremely wrong with TTT, but then there were things that I loved (the Ents, Gollum, the People of Rohan, Wormtongue). So really, truely, I can't decide.
