Although I immensely enjoyed all three films, I'd have to pick ROTK as the best.<P>Why? Simply because ROTK was the most emotionally-engulfing. In that sense it was on a whole nother level than the first two movies. Also, the battle sequences were superior and not too drawn-out. <P>Everything about the movie, in my opinion, was practically perfect. While I came away from the previous two films with a few complaints, I left ROTK with nothing but praise. <P>FOTR would be my second favorite, and although I don't see TTT as a disappointment at all, it just sorta gets lost in the middle of the two extremes, for me.
