HCIsland has just left Hobbiton.
Sting

The song that Merry and Pippin sing in King at Edoras is not the same one they sing in the Extended Fellowship.
I remember the line, "they brew a beer so brown," and something about the Green Dragon.
Part of it may be the opening verse from the song Frodo sings in the book at the Prancing Pony.
There is an inn, a merry old inn
beneath an old grey hill,
And there they brew a beer so brown
That the Man in the Moon himself came down
one night to drink his fill.
Of course, it seems they modified this song significantly.
Editted to add: Oops, sorry Nimrothiel, I just noticed your post. You certainly got more of it than I did.
H.C.
[ 9:41 PM December 23, 2003: Message edited by: HCIsland ]
