I loved Pippin's scenes. The first time I really broke down and cried my LotR loving little heart out was when Pippin left Edoras and the looks on his and Merry's faces...<P>I loved his singing scene - I'd already heard it on the soundtrack, but couldn't wait to see it in the movie. And I loved their first appearance in the movie, with him and Merry smoking and talking about Isengard in that way. I loved that chapter in the books, and I thought it was done so well.<P>I do think the Palantir scene was just a tad overdone, but I can cope with it.
