Sting Prop Gripes

I hate Gimli's axe more every time I see it. Just when I think I'm at saturation point, I see another pic of it and increase my loathing another level. It looks absolutely ridiculous, and I can't think why a powerful Dwarf would want to lighten his axe by having those cut out bits in it. It's too small to begin with. Who lightens an axe? It's an axe!! Grr...<P>Okay, anyone else got a prop gripe? Anything from the beer mugs to Arwen's sword. Come on, give it a go! Weta did such a great job in general, I have a feeling that this might be a very sparse looking thread!

Or the design on his other axe...In which case, both of them are pretty much just that, designs. I don't read much more into them than that...
