In many movies taking place in our time the various products are usually in the movies in order to promote them.Think of Frodo & Sam in Emyn Muil drinking Elvish miruvir from Pepsi bottles.Or think of pipe-weed; "Gandalf - the Marlboro Wizard"...Galadriel shampoo - gives your hair that Elvish feel... I'd better stop.
