I say Sauron because he's cool, cold and calculated. Undetered, no matter how great his defeats, in a applying his plan. Where as Morgoth (using Morgoths Ring as a source) suffered from &quot;nihilistic madness&quot;. He just wanted to destroy everything untill there wasn't anything left to destroy.
