I'd change Lothlorien.I think almost anybody who's read the books would change Lothlorien.That's about the only location I'd shoot differently. I think the direction was excellent, as was the actual filming of the scenes.Most of my problems were with changes made to characters and plot lines. Here's some instances where I'd follow the book more closely-1) I'd make Faramir noble and wise. 2) Treebeard wouldn't have to be tricked into attacking Isengard. 3) Arwen would have her screen time cut by about 99 percent (even though she's hot). 4) There'd be no elves at Helm's Deep. 5) Did I mention I'd have Faramir be better? 6) Eomer would already be in Helm's Deep with Aragorn and company. 7) There'd be more than three hundred men at Helm's Deep. 8) Aragorn would not fall off a cliff. 9) Treebeard wouldn't act mean and thick headed when he first meets Merry and Pippin. 10) In case I forgot, I'd make Faramir a better guy.But I think the most important thing I'd do would be change Lothlorien![ September 18, 2003: Message edited by: the phantom ]
