| Scenes from the book that will and won't be in the movie

We all know things were left out of the first two movies for timing, or story necessesity and things were added to smooth over some bumps left by emitting some things, I.E. the introduction of Pippin and Merry but what do you think will be left out or added to ROTK?
I have a feeling the whole subplot of Pippin in and around Minas Tirith with Beregond and his son will be left out.

Interesting thought. One thing I know for certain is that the Scouring of the Shire is being left out. The lack of this is a source of ire for many here on the Downs.
Abedithon le,
~*~Aranel~*~

I don't know about Beregond, but at least Pippin will be in Gondor for a while, so that helps somewhat. Other than the Scouring, I don't know if we have any idea yet about other things that will be left out. It's mostly just stuff that PJ put in all by himself...

Beregond's been cast, but I don't think Imrahil is featured, unless it's as a side character. I was thinking perhaps like Gil-galad was featured in the prologue. There, but no lines or real action.

To bad about Prince Imrahil, I liked him a lot in the books; but this is an example of a small change that PJ has made that I can live with.

I heard something about Legolas firing an arrow the sails up past Wormtongue (this is in Orthanc) and Wormie laughs at Leggy's innacuracy, but the arrow comes down again into Wormie's head...
And what does 'be iest lin' mean? (Or something like that anyway)

I'm pretty sure that Beregond is in the film which I am glad about. I think I've seen the actors picture somewhere but can't remember which site (if anyone has a link I'd be much obliged). All I can remember is that he was kind of hot :P
Well, Scouring is out. Is Ghan-Buri-ghan out? I may be imagining this but I may have seen the actors picture also. But it would be great if he's in.

Is it just me or does that sound a little bit cheesy? I'd rather have him kill dear Wormie with a straight shot through the middle .

I agree with Estel: a well-placed arrow would do better than the other. It is a little cheesy, and a little too unreal for me. And I've seen a picture of Eowyn as Dernhelm. It's so obvious that she's a woman. Ha ha ha.

Yes it would...but if it's true, it'll be cool to see the expression on dear Wormie's face...oh dear...this has all made me rather vindictive...
