Great thread title! Heh heh...Frodo the Drama Queen! Perhaps it was the slow motion that really made the drama go over the top. I can see a profound grunt and expression of pain, but it would all take place so quickly...I guess they had to draw it out to show how unusual it was that he did NOT get skewered as all thought.
