Calenamarthiel has just left Hobbiton.
Sting

My favorite character has always been Eowyn. I like the fact that she's strong, and not afraid of most things other women would fear, but that she's also vulnerable and inexperienced in other ways. Her character also underwent a lot of development, from being a woman who was "fair but cold" to one who was finally not afraid to feel. Of course, it helped a lot that Miranda Otto is a very, very good actor. <P>Another favorite would be Aragorn, and I think that Viggo Mortensen also did an admirabe job portraying him. I know that my fellow book-loyalists would probably kill me for saying this *hides in a corner* but I think it was nice that he was able to turn the sometimes one-dimensional character in the book to one whom almost everyone could relate to.
