				  | What extras do you want to see on the DVD?

Both the theatrical and the extended version DVDs had great extras. The documentaries and stills were wonderful. They left me wondering what's left to put on the TTT and RotK DVDs? What extras would you like to see included?<P>My wish list:<P>I think it would be funny to see the actors' audition tapes (I heard Elijah Wood made his own). <P>Of course, stills of the new sets and costumes are fun. <P>A commentary track by Viggo Mortensen, Miranda Otto, Bernard Hill and John Rhys-Davies. <P>Maybe some of the deleted plotlines (Arwen at Helm's Deep, for example). Then we could cringe and think "thank goodness THAT didn't make the cut!"<P>All five of Saruman's death scenes.<P>Interviews with extras who have funny stories.<P>A track that has just the music on it. <P>Anybody want something else?<P>-Lily

That thread seems to be more of extended scenes, though. I think Lily meant what other features in the Appendices part of the DVD would you like to see.

Thanks, Brinniel! Yes, I'm talking about things other than the movie itself.<P>-Lily

I'd like to see some "home movie" type footage of cast and crew enjoying themselves in the filming.

The DVD could really use an outtake reel. And I hope they hide a ROTK preview like they did with the TTT preview.
