Though some people don't think PJ should do The Hobbit, I can't imagine it happening without him. He helped create ME and everything about it would be different without him. If that happened, I can imagine people who aren't fans possibly not realize that The Hobbit is related to LOTR (yes, people can be that ignorant ).<P>I would like to see PJ turn the Shannara series into a movie. The Heritage of Shannara in particular (a four book story). But I'd only like that if I could write the script.
