John Rhys-Davies originally auditioned for Denethor, so he could have just a small part in such an incredible venture. I was reading in the archives of Theonering.net, and almost everything was about how Ethan Hawke and Uma Thurman were playing Faramir and Eowyn. I thought Dominic Monaghan auditioned for Frodo?
