The toughest thing I find to wrap my head around is the fate of Saruman without the scouring of the Shire. They'll have to finish him off somehow, but I'm not sure how. I hope it doesn't differ too much from what's in the book.<P>As for Flotsam and Jetsam, all we need is the image of Merry and Pippin sitting by the gates smoken and giving that "what?..." look to Aragorn, Gimli and Legolas as they approach.
