Orual has just left Hobbiton.

What? No Grishnakh? ARGH! I was even taking note of any space for an extra scene when I saw it the second time..."Does it switch angles? Does it cut? Maybe there's the scene with Grishnakh!" Oh well...I'll just have to stop the movie and read that scene out loud.
Keep the Arwen scenes on the cutting-room floor, please. We don't need any more of her than we've already got. But I wouldn't mind knowing what the heck happens to Narsil...
More Bilbo? That rocks. And I'm very much looking forward to seeing more Merry and Pippin--they were horribly cut back on. (Understandably, but horribly nonetheless.) Also, it'll be good to see more of the inter-Orc fighting. It emphasizes the Orthanc-Barad-dur treachery, as will Saruman's (characteristically blantant) "more powerful than the Lord of the Rings himself" speech.
Yay for Sam and his rope! Maybe they'll have that scene where he remembers that he has it in his pack...the one that comes right before the meet up with Gollum. Where Frodo falls off of that wall...oh, you know what I'm talking about.
But what indeed is up with Faramir getting Sam's lines? Sam deserves all his lines. He earned them! But the Faramir/Boromir/Denethor scene ought to be nice.
Less than a year, right?
~*~Orual~*~
