That jogs my memory. Yes, Dior married Nimloth. Thus Elwing and her brothers were half-elven. But Dior's nature remains undetermined. He was born a son of Beren before the Valar granted the peredhil the choice. But also, his mother was Luthien, who was granted the fate of men. Thus both of Dior's parents were of "Mannish" fate. This is one of those debatable areas. Logic dictates that Dior was a Man. Yet...
