Maikadilwen has just left Hobbiton.
Sting

I just got home from the cinema 10 minutes ago.
When we reached the intermission I was so disappointed I could have cried. I laughed through most of the first half. Maybe other people wouldn't be disappointed because they got a chance to laugh, but seriously.... I was a bit sad that every time Gimli opened his mouth, a joke was what came out. That wasn't what I had expected from the book I had read.
The other half, however, was an entirely diffenrent movie. Of course, the only thing I had been thinking about was Helm's Deep and I loved every minute of it. But also the rest of it was brilliant. Though... I too, don't like the way Faramir has been changed. He was supposed to be the decent brother of the two.
Too little of Sauron, though, but I may be the only one with that opinion.
And now I have another wish for Christmas. I want my own Smeagol! Isn't he just adorable?
[ December 19, 2002: Message edited by: Maikadilwen ]
