Actually, I would imagine that it was the march that made the road, by dent of thousands of folks walking over the same area.
Seriously, do you think Orome did it all his lonesome? Or a few of Morgoth's nasties? Who else could have done it? Roads through massive size forests don't just appear, they are made by travel. [ January 28, 2003: Message edited by: lindil ]
