How did you find LOTR?? The movie first or the book. - The Barrow-Downs Discussion Forum

Actually like some poeple I saw the movie first, then I read the books. But before I saw the movie, I knew that my friend was reading FOTR, but some how it didn't click in my head that what she was reading and what I was about to see in theaters was the same exact thing. She even mentioned to me how the book ended, thought, luckily I completly forgot what she had told me and was surprised all the same by the end of the movie (and a little disapointed too). Overall, both the movie and the books were very good in my opinion!
