The cinema where I saw FOTR costs $6 for a movie, as opposed to at least $12 other places, and the cinema was only 3/4 full. Some people went into the city and were paying $50 for a ticket....silly silly them. And I found a perfect Hobbit dress online, it's an Irish peasant outfit, it's lovely. Too bad I can't afford it. Plus I'd never hear the end of it from my friends if I got dressed up for a movie.
