Has anyone read the E-Text of LOTR on "The Tolkien Sarcasm Page"?
In "The Bridge of Kringle Dum", Book II, Chapter 5, Aragon and Lego-lass(sic) have the debate while Gandalf is actually battling the balrog.
I have to say that I found the whole work absolutely hilarious. Highly recommended!
