You sound quite determined, but I think we'll find that many FOTR detractors won't be as resolute. It will be interesting to see if you hold out.<P>I too have been a fan of the books for many years and went to the movie dreading the possible fiasco that was about to unfold. Didn't happen. Ripping the soul out of the books? No way.
